Have you, or someone you know, at sometime bought a pet tarantula, scorpion, millipede or centipede and then decided it wasn't the pet for you? Perhaps after purchasing it on a whim you decided that this type of pet wasn't what you thought it was...perhaps it spends too much time hiding or not moving at all! Have you made up your mind that you no longer want this animal as a pet? Alot of people end up in this situation and unfortunetly, many of them think the only option is to let the animal go into the wild. Not only is this highly illegal (with possible jail time and heavy fines involved if you are caught) it is also highly unethical as none of these animals would ever survive one of our winters. If you are in this position please contact me as I will gladly take the animal(s) off your hands. I currently own over 50 species of tarantulas as well as various scorpions, millipedes and other creepy crawlies and I always have room for more! E-mail me with what you have and I will arrange to pick it up, especially if you are in the Rhode Island area (I will also go to most places in Massachusetts and Connecticutt). If you are in other parts of the United States I will give you detailed instructions on how to safely mail them to me and I will pay for all shipping costs. If you want to also get rid of the tanks your animals are housed in I am always willing to take them off your hands also. For rare species I am usually willing to pay some amount for them. Let your unwanted invertebrates have a chance of survival by going to a good home where they will be cared for properly.
